Instructions
Add the frozen cherries and ½ cup of water to your blender.
Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If you have a tamper, use it to help keep the fruit towards the blades. If you don't have a tamper, then take breaks to mix and scrape the walls and bottom of the blender. If the mixture is too thick, then add a little more water.
Serve right away or transfer to a glass container and keep in the freezer.

Notes
High-speed blender: blending frozen fruit works better if you have a high-speed blender such as Vitamix or Blentec. That being said, you can still make this recipe using a regular blender, only expect to have to take more breaks to scrape the walls and the sorbet might hold on to a few pieces of fruit, which would be fine.
Tamper: it is incredibly helpful to make sorbet in your blender if you have a tamper (check out the quick video down below in the recipe card). If you don't have one, then you will need to take more breaks to mix using a spatula.
Tart cherries: if you only have frozen tart cherries available, then you will likely have to add a sweetener. Simple syrup or maple syrup will work well, just add to taste!
Adjust consistency: I needed ½ cup of water to create the perfect texture, but you might need more or less depending on your fruit and the strength of your blender. You can start with ⅓ cup and add more as you go.
